Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are increasingly efficient, passing our cleaning tests and tackling a variety of floor types. Look for models that allow you to choose from multiple modes, use their charging dock to self-empty, and clean up the stairs.

A lot of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Check for an application that lets you save maps, schedules, and choose cleaning modes.

    1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate, creating maps of floors and rooms.

When I tested the S1 It was quick to map our downstairs, which is home to laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, plus medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was able to drive right up to walls without colliding with them and even managed to drive across thresholds that were raised in the room without problem, although it sometimes had trouble navigating down stairs in a single step. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and raised itself when it came to carpets or carpets.

Before each mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills its water tank onboard with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock also adds a cleaning solution into the water for deep cleaning. The S1’s water tank can hold enough for about a dozen cleaning sessions before needing to be cleaned, although it will differ based the amount you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires periodic maintenance to keep it working efficiently. You’ll need to periodically rinse out the tank that has been contaminated to avoid it becoming blocked. Also, you’ll need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to avoid them becoming blocked by dust or dirt. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

    2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs All-in-one robot vacuum and mop is an effective solution for cleaning. Its robot vacuum boasts 8,700Pa of suction, and comes with numerous innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that avoids obstacles and cleans furniture. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mops actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of just moving a pad across the surface. The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station as required.

This robot has a simple interface that guides you through the process. It comes with an electric hand vacuum that can be recharged for those hard-to-reach areas that the robot isn’t able to reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and refilled whenever needed. It comes with a range of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does excellent job of vacuuming, with strong suction that easily removes all kinds of debris, including the smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are solid as well, though it can sometimes get caught in the small carpets or area mats that I have in my home (which is something you can control by creating a virtual border in the app). Its mopping capabilities are also excellent with a pair of spinning mop heads that can lift and scrub the floor instead of moving the pad across it. The mops are cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station as needed. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when required.

    3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new top-of-the-line robot mop and vacuum comes with more impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-off maintenance making it a top contender for our top mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush ensure an efficient, custom-designed clean is accomplished.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It works equally well on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned our tests’ dirtiest areas well, avoiding tangled pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping power of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that automatically extends to get into areas that are difficult to reach and mop pads that extend along baseboards.

Its navigation system is intelligent that can navigate tight spaces and negotiating the stairs without a hitch. It can move from one room to another without having to reverse direction which is a great feature for homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than the ones of other competitors, and leaves a huge margin between obstacles. This can result in miss-hit spots.

The interface of the app is easy to use and easy to use. It should be easy to use for novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and control cleanings. You can also adjust suction power, mop settings and view 2D and 3-D maps. best robot vacuum can control it via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra’s camera remotely, for live video surveillance. However, you will require a reliable Wi-Fi connection to operate it through the app and external controls.

    4. Roomba Q5 pro

Robot vacuums are fantastic at picking up dirt and debris, but they’re not able to get all dust. It’s essential to clean your home frequently, every week. This is especially important for dust that builds up in corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock’s Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed specifically for this purpose. It’s easy to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network and works with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more convenient addition to your daily cleaning routine.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, such as the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but cuts down on cost by removing the mopping functionality and by using a cheaper plastic body.

Although it’s no longer able to wipe your floors, the Q5 offers the best mopping and vacuum performance we’ve seen on a robot at this price. It features a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system so you don’t have to manually empty the bin every time. It has a smart app which allows you to schedule cleaning and choose the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling system and washing system that is hands-free.

Its mops also impress, with a 2700Pa power that can take on pet hair and dirt on carpets and hard flooring. The Q5 was among the few robots that we tested that did not have problems with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it was able to not pick up kitty-litter or cable tangles. This isn’t a surprise, since it does NOT include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.

    5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we have tested, it also utilizes a unique system to map your home. This will allow it to enter corners and tight spaces that other vacuums can’t reach. This device also has the larger bin, meaning that you don’t have to empty it as often. It also has washable filters, which reduces the cost. The robot is also able to detect carpets and boost the suction when needed. The app also allows you to mark areas that you want it to stay clear of, which is a nice feature.
