Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are getting more powerful. They pass our tests on cleaning and can handle different floors. Look for models that allow you to select between several modes, utilize their charging docks to automatically empty and clean up stairs.

Many of the best models are compatible with smartphones. Look for an app that lets you save schedules, maps and select cleaning modes.

    1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It uses lidar to navigate, and create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set schedules and customize the S1’s behavior.

The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which comprises flooring in the kitchen, dining area and bathrooms and also a carpet in the middle and a large area. It was capable of driving close to walls and even across thresholds that are raised without issue. However it had some issues navigating down the stairs in one go. The S1 also did a great job of cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving effortlessly on its flat side against the floor and then lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or rugs.

Prior to each mopping session the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and refills the water tank onboard with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water for deep cleaning. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 mopping sessions, however this will differ dependent on how often you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires regular maintenance to keep it working well. For this, you’ll need to wash the dirty water tank occasionally to keep it from becoming clogged. It is also necessary to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to prevent them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. However, overall, the S1 is easy to maintain, especially when compared to other combos that require more care.

    2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-one robotic mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a reliable option for cleaning needs. The robot vacuum is rated at 8700Pa of suction and comes with a number of innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that avoids obstacles and cleans furniture. Its mopping capability is impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor, instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are cleaned and dried at the base station, as needed.

This robot has an easy interface that guides you through the process. It comes with an electric hand vacuum that can be recharged to reach those areas the robot isn’t able to reach and two water tanks that are automatically emptied and filled whenever needed. It also has a number of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, with strong suction that easily picks up most of the debris, and even smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are quite good, though it could get stuck on small mats and rugs in my home (which you can alleviate by creating virtual boundaries within the app). The mopping feature is pretty excellent, too, with a pair of spin mops that actually lift and scrub the floors, instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station as required. The mops can also be filled at the top of the station as required.

    3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame’s X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. However, their latest flagship model has even more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our list of the best mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush ensure that a thorough, customized clean is accomplished.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It works equally well on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned our test’s most soiled areas efficiently, while keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other mess. The sweeping capability of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that extends to get into areas that are difficult to reach and mop pads that run along baseboards.

Its navigation is smart, navigating narrow spaces and climbing stairs without skipping a beat. It is able to move from one room to the next without having to reverse direction. This is beneficial for homes with a lot of rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than some competitors however, and tends to leave a thick space over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.

The app’s interface is intuitive and streamlined. It should be simple to use for both novices and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings, adjust the suction power and mopping settings and view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri which allows you to keep an eye on its progress from any location. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You’ll require a stable Wi-Fi connection in order to operate it via the app and external controls.

    4. Roomba Q5 Pro

Robot vacuums are fantastic at picking up dirt and debris, but they can’t reach all dust. It’s essential to clean your home often, at least once a week. This is particularly important for dust that accumulates in corners, on shelves, and in crevices in your couch. Roborock’s Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot that was designed to do exactly that. It’s simple to connect to your Wi-Fi at home network and works with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your cleaning routine.

The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, which includes the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it’s less expensive because it doesn’t come with mopping capabilities and has plastic body.

Despite losing the ability to mop floors, the Q5 has the best mopping and vacuum performance we’ve seen on a robot at this price. It has a suction power of 5500Pa and an automatic-empty system that means you don’t have to empty the bin manually each time. It has a smart app which allows you to schedule cleanings and determine the floor type. It also features an automatic water tank filling system and washing system to allow hands-free operation.

Its mops also impress, with a 2700Pa capacity to combat pet hair and dirt on carpets and hard flooring. robot vacuum cleaners best was among the few robots we tested to not have a problem with high-pile area rugs and carpets. However, it was able to not pick up kitty-litter or cable tangles. This isn’t a surprise because it doesn’t contain AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

    5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robot vacuum we’ve ever tested. It also features an innovative mapping system that lets it reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums cannot. It also stores dust in a larger dustbin which means you have empty it less frequently. Additionally, it has washable filters, which reduces the costs associated with using the device. This robot can also detect carpets and increase suction when needed. The app also lets you to mark off areas you want to stay clear of this is a useful feature.
